We met at a quiet little coffee shop, sat in the back and talked like old friends. She was keen to hear details of my evening with the guys, and as I shared with her she reached across the little table and held my hands. I was getting lost in her eyes, and before we parted I had invited her to come to my place after work the next day, which she gleefully accepted.
We walked out together and she followed me to my car and whispered in my ear as I opened the door, "Thanks for inviting me to come over!" I turned to respond but before I could speak she put her soft lips to mine.
