That kind of escalation so fast feels pretty rushed, it would be hotter with some buildup and intermediate stages.

I kinda wish he was saying that last part out loud at this point. an open secret that she's being brainwashed, and getting some of that insider opinion of it. IE: can you tell where the brainwashing happened? what's old vs what's new you? What could be done to make it more subtle. would you like it to be more subtle? would you like to forget you were never told? Do you think you have a choice?
