Ah! I think I'm beginning to get the Existential Damsel reference. In both of your stories so far, the protagonist both accepts her "nature," and proactively defines it by living into it unabashedly: no shame, excuses, ambivalence or complaint. She throws herself into radical submission and devotion because that is who she is. Existential courage. And, the way she does it is hot; did I mention that part? :)
