She's mine. She's really mine.

Liam knew that it wouldn't be all sunshine and roses with Blake. He didn't know who, but someone had hurt her bad enough that she still thought she was broken or lacking in some way. He knew he couldn't fix her--that didn't work, and he would be an ass for trying.

But I can make sure I treat her like I did tonight to make her feel special.

Liam knew Blake might still bear scars no matter what he did. He could accept that--he had scars of his own. That didn't matter though.

Not as long as I have her.

When Blake came back into the room and rushed to the bed, pulling the blankets over them, Liam grinned and wrapped his arms around her.

She's mine.

He kissed the back of her head.

Fuck, yes, she's mine.
