Click hereMy life was moving forward. I sat in a chair waiting for my turn. It was then I started reflecting on each of the amazing women who for over the past two years influenced me. Each of them played a special part whether it was good or bad, whether they knew it or not, each of them responsible for guiding me to where I am today, in this moment, at this school and rearranging my schedule allowing me to take my next career step for the CLO Music internship.
As I heard my name called, I received a text. I looked at my phone. It was from Beth.
"I knew you had it in you. See you in Chicago."
***The End***
I do hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing and fantasizing about the joys of life. Thank you for reading this final chapter in this story, The Coffee Shop.
I invite you to join Frances, Michaela, Mom (Kathie), Momma (Mary Ann), and of course, Marcie, as they move forward in life, love and their adventures in a new series coming 'soon' titled The CLO.
You never know when the ghosts of the past may reappear and seek out the love and affection of our dearest Frances.
With all my love,
Aoife
Absolutely Brilliant!
This is a really great story, the characters feel real and suffer the same way we all do in relationships, joy, happiness, confusion and heartbreak.
Looking forward to reading the next chapter "CLO",
I know it will be just as good as the previous parts.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful talent
What a lovely series. A comment on Chapter 1 said that they hope Marcie wouldn't break Frances's heart. In reality, she helped Frances to start building a strong heart. Same with Cassie who added to that foundation, then broke it by not staying in contact. Then beautiful Beth, again helping Frances on the one hand to own her future while on the other showed her new joys of love, both physical and emotional. All these led to Frances being more able to love her sister genuinely and without reservation. Great stuff. Good to see her connection still remains with Marcie. Also, sure would like to see/hear/feel more between Rose and the moms. That interlude was too brief, but such is often the case with life's experiences. Thank you.
Ummm aren’t they half sisters…you stated in the first chp
“My Mom had me and Momma gave birth to Michaela and Francis all three of us from the same anonymous sperm donor. “
So they all have the same dad. Is that a little incesty?
