All Comments on 'The Store is Closed'

There is no character image development in this story at all, nothing, the reader is thrust into a scene in a van. There is no description of anything or anyone, and the scene as depicted defies reality. Tell me how could the fat overweight big nosed and big assed gal bounce out of the captain's chair and into the rear of the van? Didn't know she was fat and ugly? Wasn't told otherwise, so I assumed her to be, how else could she be with this guy?
