I honestly don't know how I feel about what slutznet is doing here. Its seems curder than what the church is doing without a reason.

I got a feeling there is still one more whoremaster to come out of this mess, possibly a white witch as well.

It's intriguing to see that SlutzNet has gone full Joshua on the Church, be they from Cuba or the resistance in the States. The lack of empathy from Santa is going to make things interesting. Be good to see Ken and Melanie team up with the teens and work with Maria to put a stop to SlutzNet's machinations.

On second reading let me make sure I got this right. Beth and Rich are running from Santa and Miss Claus. Tara is pure whore class, Colleen is partly transformed. Tara possibly has the drugs for Todd as well? Mel and Ken have been turned into a MILF Whore and a Jr Whoremaster but from the sounds of it haven't been given the Transformative Ambrosia yet and looks like they are escaping. Speaking of Santa and Miss Claus, they have a modified version of the bimbo flu in them.

Then you got Maria and Demona trying to stop this mess. But with thousands of people and the bimbo flu, its going to have to be fast.

Also still not sure which side Slutznet is on by doing this.

I know I should never complain for receiving too much content in one chapter but, the way the flow of a scene/story arc kept getting interrupted to bring in the parallel timeline events of another scene/arc was dizzying. I too read it twice and still feel I’m missing something.

Help me understand agin why what is happening at the mall is bad? The world is already fated to this being our existence going forward why is everyone concerned about mass producing it? Why would they want to stop it? It’s starting to sound like everyone is arguing over who’s version of God is the right one. You got people trying to stop the Church of Morpheus (the keepers of the religious status quo), but they are too compromised to do anything substantial. You got sects within the CoM arguing about which facet of Morph is the more important and more profitable part (those who support why a single religion needs multiple parts -Catholics vs Protestants / Sunni vs Shia), and now we also have a rogue AI (obviously the Scientology group) building order from everyone else’s chaos.

But they all want the same thing...everyone to believe like them. And in every chapter over every book of this story we all know it doesn’t matter how they do it...Morph’s will must be done. Well you can’t get that one vote/convert at a time. You need a few holy wars, need to get people to drink the purple cool-aid in large groups, need to send in missionaries to spread the word globally or at least into impoverished and underdeveloped places and exchange clean drinking water for people’s eternal souls...at least that’s the usually plan of attack. What is happening in the Mall of America is just a modern version of all that.

Also why is this only happening in the US? AI should be launching a global initiative for transformation. I, like every other Big10 fan, agree those Golden Gopher lovers in Minnesota need a bit of religious correction. But why start there vs let’s say Hong Kong, there is a place that needs some mellowing out and let’s be honest It’s a far better foothold economically and politically than MSP or Cuba.

Agreed, there is a lot going on here, but it was a story we wanted to tell. We imagined it as a 70s style disaster movie like Earthquake with multiple storylines converging. It's also an homage to Dawn of the Dead (set in a mall with 'zombies').

As for why Cuba? Logistically it makes sense, though you can't know that yet, because we haven't told Morpheus's story.

Our books focus on the conflict in the US, but you can assume there are efforts in other countries as well. Though, if you consider the US as the toughest nut to crack, does it make sense to attack the US first or subdue the rest of the world first? The Church needs to move fast before the US can react, so they're the first to be infiltrated.

Your comment about the nature of the conflict is spot on. The government resisting change, and factions within the Church in conflict over doctrine will form the basis of the last two books.

As for why would anyone resist this? That's a philosophical question. A great number of people wouldn't resist, but many would. Would being transformed be a bad thing? Depends on your point of view.

God knows what's going on. Maybe Slut net does but this mere mortal's struggling. LOL. I've no idea how you can keep track of the storyline and the abundant characters you include. Now the 2 computer networks are linked or at least one's been taken over the possibilities are endless but the conclusion should be the same inevitability. Ln other words, how can the goodies ever hope to win? Terminator comes to mind.
