Another well written chapter in a good story, what will it end with? Will Connie discover her past?

I feel like this chapter didn't move the needle very far. Nothing changed other than the convo with dad at the end.

This isn’t a quick or easy story. It’s a life story for someone who’s had to make their way mostly alone. I really don’t want to see Vicky end up with Livvie, not unless Livvie changes a helluva lot soon, and that seems unlikely. Lisa is worse. Connie is bottom of the barrel. Bitch. I hope someone new comes into Vicki’s life. She’s tried damn hard to be good to everyone and gotten screwed for it mostly. She deserves love, peace, trust and happiness

Hope you are a long way from finishing. It's good to get the the underlying points out to some they may be tedious but if you jump too far readers will get confused and wonder where they missed a minor point that drives a major factor later
