As with many of your multi-chapter stories, Pixie, this one keeps on getting better. I love the historical theme, and your research is, as always, spot on. I admire the way you weave your erotic imagination into the story. Pippa is such a resourceful character. I often wonder, on those late Sunday afternoons over a bottle of wine, who and when was the first Englishman that had the good sense to wander down South and feast upon maidens fair warm, wet folds and who was it that told him, to do this, or do that. No doubt it was a French woman, no maiden for certain.

I think of these things at the strangest of moments.

Love the story, there is something strangely erotic about a strong powerful woman, who happens to love women. Pippa, stands out and I do wonder how history could have been changed if she was about at the time. Cromwell may have kept his head, others may have lost theirs.
