"My whole body is sore," I said. "What time is it? What day is it?"
"It's 3:30 Saturday. We were getting worried about you. Do you want to get up, or just stay in bed?"
"I would like to take a bath," I said.
Jack slid off the bed and helped me stand up. My legs were wobbly, I was dizzy and sore.
"Let me go get your bath water going. You just sit here for now and I'll come back and help you," he said.
I sat down on the edge of the bed, resisting the temptation to lay back down. A feeling of embarrassment came over me again. I didn't have much time to think about it though, because Allie and Jenny appeared in the doorway.
"How do you feel? I hope we didn't go too far," Allie said.
I thought about her question for a few seconds. "It's fine. I'm embarrassed though. And, I'm as sore as a whore," I said with as much of a laugh as I could muster.
Jack returned and he, Jenny and Allie all helped me into the bath. Ohhhh, god that felt good! They left me alone to bathe and I soaked for an hour, with the memories of last night now flooding back into my head.
