"Exactly," she said lifting her head from my shoulder to look into my eyes. "I don't think we need to change a thing. There's no need to plan it, we'll just let it happen and I'll get pregnant eventually."

"I don't think it will take long at all," I said.

"Confident in your abilities are you?" she said smiling and touching my soft cock lovingly.

"No I didn't mean it like that. When you stop taking your birth control pills I won't be able to keep my hands off you," I said caressing her soft skin.

"You won't have to," she said kissing me.

We lay together in bed for another half hour trading kisses as we shared fantasies of our future together. It was amazing how little the disaster with her father yesterday had affected things between us. A day later it was like it never happened. I wish he could see how committed to each other we were. Mr. Dumont was convinced I was no good for his daughter; I knew he was wrong. Being the husband she deserved was no less of a daunting task but there was no one else in the world who would try as hard as me.

After a sensuous warm shower together we got ready and headed downstairs to have breakfast in the hotel dinning room. Once we'd eaten a late breakfast, we hurried outside with our snowboards ready to make the most of our remaining time at the resort. With Cassie's expert teaching I was learning quickly. The balance and agility I'd learned during my years of Tae Kwon Do lessons helped immensely too. I'd become good enough that I rarely fell anymore but I'd never be able to keep up with her. Now that I knew all about her background with the sport she wasn't shy at all and I got to see the full range of her talents. The way she glided over the snow, cutting her board sharply when she wanted to turn, was awe-inspiring to watch.

My favorite part was watching her perform jumps. During spring break she showed me some but that was nothing compared to this. I remember thinking she could do back flips when we first met and I wish could have seen the smile on my face when she proved me right. She let me catch up to her and just about swooned on her board at the sight of my smile. Her own smile was full of unbridled happiness; like she'd accomplished something she thought was impossible. I hugged her tightly feeling her tremble in my arms as she admitted it was the first time she'd tried one since the terrible accident, crediting me for restoring her belief in her abilities again. If Cassie wasn't such a remarkable woman it would be hard to believe she could have snowboarded any better even before the accident.

That first back flip changed something inside her. Cassie looked like a streak of fire blazing down the hill with her honey blonde braids streaming behind her and bright red helmet glistening in the sun. She waited at me at the bottom each time with an apologetic smile. I told her I enjoyed having the best view of her show on the hill and encouraged her to push herself if she felt comfortable. There was no way I could take such obvious joy away from her. By the time we were ready to take a break for a late lunch or early dinner, she admitted she was starting to get comfortable again.

"You were amazing out there today sweetie," I said making her blush at our table as we waited for our food to arrive.

"Thank you," she said smiling at me. "I had a lot of fun letting loose. I never could have done it without you though. I've told you this before but it's true; you made me start feeling like myself again the day I met you." I reached across the table and took her hand in mine when she said that.

"To hear you say that touches me here," I said bringing her hand to my heart.

"You're going to make me cry," she said with a forced giggle and glassy eyes.

"I'm sorry sweetie," I said knowing these were the good kind of tears at least. "I'm still blown away by what I saw today. You couldn't have been much better than that before your accident," I said hoping it would make her smile but it failed miserably.

"Don't say that," she said looking down.

"Why?" I asked as a revelation hit me. "You are as good as you were before the accident."

"I think so," she said like it was the worst thing as the world.

"That's great," I said filled with enough excitement to make up for her own lack of enthusiasm. "There's still time to make the national team and live your dream."

"I am living my dream," she said and suddenly I understood completely.

"You don't want to leave your job at the hospital," I said feeling stupid for getting so excited moments before.

"I'd have to train full time and travel all over the world if I made it," she said. "I couldn't leave the kids at the hospital behind and I don't want to spend all that time away from you."

"I'm sorry sweetie. Even if this is what you prefer I know it must be hard," I said.

"Was it hard for you to give up everything you'd dreamed about in LA?" she asked.

"Everyone thinks it was but it was easy knowing how much better my new life was going to be," I said smiling at her with her favorite smile. I knew she felt the same way about the choice she'd made.

After dinner we sat outside drinking a cup of hot cocoa together. Cassie surprised me by suggesting we try the more difficult runs. Not only had her own confidence returned but it extended to faith in what she'd had taught me being enough for the best the resort had to offer. On what was supposed to be our last run of the night some kids saw Cassie's latest jump trick and cheered for her as she landed. They all wanted to see more and she couldn't disappoint their smiling faces. She went off the jump again and again doing one fantastic trick after another. My heart leaped into my throat whenever she tumbled on one of the landings but she always bounced to her feet with a smile, ready to try again. The crowd around us grew as she continued her display and a cheer went up each time she landed cleanly. Cassie might have given up on her snowboarding career for her new life with me but for one October night on her favorite hill in Whistler she got to experience what it could have been like.

Really good!

You defiantly have a way to move a story along. I like the way you weave the passion and sex into the story. You tease us with them possibly getting a little more experimental in their sex, kind of wish you would explore that a bit more. Just how naughty can she be and will he let her experiment? Pot smoking snow boarder and university of O parties can get pretty outrageous ya know!

My 2 cents

Another great chapter! I enjoyed reading this one. They are getting closer and her dad is still throwing a wrench into things. He is headed for hard times if he makes her pick between him and her husband. I look forward to more reading. Thanks for your time and Imagination.

The great Canadian Romance continues

This one of the best romance series I have ever read. Once I start a chapter I can not put it down till I finish it. This story is so warm and inviting it seems like it could go on forever. Hopefully somewhere down the line it will end up as a happily ever after.

Another 5 star plus chapter.
