Kuya is in a tough spot for sure. One thing that may help is that Lani could visit him in Texas and even sleep on his dorm room floor (on sibling weekend) to be able to get to see his real college friends and be immersed in his new life. They could go to the gay bar and dance and she observes how he interacts with his gay friends and see how he is comfortable in his real element. Maybe then Kuya doesn’t have to say anything but the reality of his orientation would be more clearly revealed for Lani without him needing a big difficult conversation. Mom should possibly be able to prep her for what to expect during this visit. I’m not saying kuya needs to have a gay hookup during that weekend? But a reality check would be really helpful for Lani I think to slowly give up on having kuya as her lover and begin to move on with her life.
