Good way to end it. I hate the stories where the guy has no way out, no one to turn to, and is forced to live with it. You also avoided clichés like him being a former navy seal or mma fighter, and jumps in the air round housing all three guys at once until they're toothless and unconscious. Good job.

I like that he was able to stand up for himself and not just take it. I would say that everyone ended up worse off with him lonely with trust issues and Mery realizing she through away something good and Hannah losing her friends.
