What else was there to do?
Yearning for the impossible was something that was killed within Janina as time progressed. There was nothing else. So she took joy in what she could while waiting. Waiting for something. She couldn't help but feel like there was more to her stay at the brothel. Like there was a purpose. But without any of her memories, it was impossible to tell what. Or if it was even a thing. Maybe it was just desperation.
