As if on cue, Chris felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He pulled it out. A text message from Brielle had just arrived. He opened it.
"How'd it go, baby?" it read.
Chris quickly sat down on the couch, staring at the message in disbelief. His face glowed in the aura surrounding the brightly lit screen. A mixture of emotions struggled to find their way to his face. -- Surprise. Excitement. Confusion.
"Good," he sent back, unsure what to say.
"Yay! NOW you're ready to be my husband..." he received next. He stared at it for several moments.
As if reacting with amusement to his silence, a second message popped up.
Brielle had sent a single emoji: a smiling face with devil horns. Its wicked smile perfectly reproduced the one that so often came to her face...

Dingbatwizardabout 1 year agoI found some of the descriptions of sex a little clichéd but the story held my interest for the most part.
Ingomarover 1 year agoGreat story, great sex - but then the end ruined it all. His answer to Brielles message should have been "Good - btw., the wedding is off, start packing your stuff". Because not telling her fiance that she used to be a hooker is a big fat NO.
Personally, i would have no big problem (i guess) with marrying a former prostitute, but that would be something she needed to tell me so i could make my own decision, keeping something as important as this a secret would mean that she does not trust me or care for me, so i would assume that she would always be willing to lie to me and to cheat on me -> no base for a marriage, never.
