Interesting scenario, in Europe back then pale white skin was a symbol of wealth. This does stretch the required suspension of disbelief quite a bit, it's incredibly unrealistic to suggest that she would tan quickly and without burning (badly!).

Just waiting for the inevitable disaster to befall our horny heroine.
