I then walked out and went into the Trade show and this guy started a conversation with me. It was my old boss from the siding company.
"What are you doing with yourself these days Alex? Ever think about coming back to work for me again? I could really use a talented guy like you in my company. Take my card and I expect to hear back from you soon." He said and I wandered around a bit before finding a hotel room nearby.
I felt like everything was a dream and perhaps it was. But as you know, I started working for the siding company again because Anubis had bigger plans for me.
I never did find out what happened to Josie and Heather or Connie Winthrop, Carla and Amber. Perhaps I never would.

Anonymous4 months agoInteresting read, though still packed with the most unlikeable characters imaginable. It would have been good if he’d managed to develop one or two non-coercive relationships or found someone where the sex was based on something other than hate. The drink is Champagne, even in US English
