Will I ever caress you,

I picture you walking through the forest to the creek

shone weakly through the haze,

Not everyone sees what lies in the forest

or did you spill something,

Lies are what we say

When on the occasion of being asked,

in any God or higher power,

Don't place me on a pedestal
